It’s no secret that dogs love peanut butter. They’ll lick it off of anything – or at least try.

Photographer Greg Murray knows this all too well. He had the genius idea of not just photographing dogs, but photographing them licking peanut butter off their faces.

Murray wanted to combine his love for animals and photography in this hilarious project. He’s taken over 100 photos of dogs and the gooey substance to put in a book available on his Kickstarter page.

“I like to make people happy and laugh through my photography. And animals, specifically dogs eating peanut butter, happen to be a great source for those two things,” he writes on his page.

The book is pricey, but it all goes to the cost of self-publishing a high-quality photo book, he says.

Murray also says that the majority of dogs used are rescue dogs.

A dog advocate, Murray writes, “If you plan on going to a breeder, please ensure that you do your research so that you are not supporting puppy mills. Also know that there are breed specific rescues out there.” Right on, Murray!
