No special effects required in the making of this martial arts movie. Just porcelain and some high-speed photography.

Well, it’s not a movie, but it is an incredibly creative art exhibit from German photographer Martin Klimas. “Porcelain Figurines” was a project from Klimas where he dropped porcelain statues – in this case martial arts figurines – from three meters up and captured the moment of impact with the floor. The result was a kinetic, jaw-dropping display reminiscent of some of the best martial arts movies made, or straight out of a Japanese anime cartoon.
