Move over “Carpool Karaoke,” there’s a new viral video in town.
Earlier this week, James Corden unleashed a new segment called “Drop the Mic,” where he and his guest have a rap battle. The segment made its debut appearance with Corden battling Anne Hathaway. However, Corden took the battle to the next level on Thursday’s show during a rap battle against David Schwimmer.
“Millennials, let me introduce you to this guy: His name is David, he was famous in ‘95,” Corden rapped. “He was on TV then, now it’s 2016 and he has no Friends.”
Schwimmer was quick to respond with a witty and creative dig regarding Corden’s British heritage.
“Dickens, the author we all read as kids, he’s British like you, but people know who he is,” Schwimmer responded back.
Before the winner could be decided, Rebel Wilson made a special appearance, taking down both Corden and Schwimmer.
“I think you’re great, I’m your biggest fan – when I was 8,” Rebel rapped about Schwimmer.
She also made a personal hit at Corden’s singing voice, rapping “Carpool Karaoke, you think it’s your big thing, but everyone’s thinking ‘shut up and let Adele sing.’”
Wilson finished the battle on a high note proclaiming, “Don’t battle me cause you know it’s not worth it, everyone knows my raps are Pitch Perfect.”
Wilson easily walked away with the win, leaving Schwimmer and Corden in the dust. Check out the full clip below.
