Rescuers Reunite Lost Baby Sea Otter With Its Mother

It turns out that baby sea otters are a lot like human children. When one baby otter got separated from its mom in the dense waters, it was up to rescuers to reunite them.
The 2-day-old pup was lost when a strong tide swept it away in Morro Bay, California.
How did the team locate the mother, you ask? Well, they just held the pup in front of a few otters in the Bay to see which one reacted – a lot like management at an amusement park announcing over a loud speaker they found your kid.
The video comes from the Marine Mammal Center and has been viewed over 400,000 times.
The center wrote in their post that successful reunions rarely happen, “so this is something to celebrate.”
