Rush Limbaugh Warns of ‘Lesbian Farmer’ Invasion of Rural America

Always controversial conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh is making viral waves Wednesday regarding comments he made last week about lesbian farmers.
Limbaugh first discussed the #RuralPride Summits, meetings held by the USDA and NCLR to “focus on the unique needs of the rural LGBT community.” The host sees these gatherings as an affront to the “real” values of rural America, explaining that in his mind, “Rural America happens to be largely conservative. Rural America is made up of self-reliant, rugged individualist types.”
From there, the host goes on to generalize lesbians, negatively comparing them to “rugged individualist types” by saying, “I’m like you; I never before in my life knew that lesbians wanted to be farmers. I never knew that lesbians wanted to get behind the horse and the plow and start burrowing. I never knew it.”
At this point, Limbaugh’s rant goes into overdrive as he explains the “truth” behind what’s going on:
“They are trying to bust up one of the last geographically conservative regions in the country; that’s rural America … So here comes the Obama Regime with a bunch of federal money and they’re waving it around, and all you gotta do to get it is be a lesbian and want to be a farmer and they’ll set you up … apparently enough money it make it happen (sic), and the objective here is to attack rural states.”
Well there you have it, President Obama and his “regime” are planning to destabilize the conservative base by having lesbian farmers infiltrate the American heartland. You can’t make this stuff up, unless you’re a radio host apparently.
