You’ll Want to Sign Up to Explore Mars After Seeing These Retro NASA Posters

Just a few years ago it seemed like a manned mission to Mars was something of only sci-fi books and movies, but after recent advances in space technology and the efforts of private explorers, a trip to Mars may happen sooner than many imagined.

To help envision a world where space agencies are actively seeking Mars explorers, NASA has released a series of retro recruitment posters that are sure to bring out the nostalgia of your 9-year-old self’s dreams of being an astronaut.

EXPLORERS WANTED ON THE JOURNEY TO MARS

“Hike the solar system’s largest canyon, Valles Marineris on Mars, where you can catch blue sunsets in the twilight, and see the two moons of Mars (Phobos and Deimos) in the night sky.”
