Social Media Explodes With Puppies for National Puppy Day
In case you weren’t aware, today is National Puppy Day. The day celebrates puppy adoption and ownership. It was actually created by lifestyle guru and pet expert Colleen Paige, who also founded National Dog Day, Cat Day, Mutt Day, Wildlife Day, and more.
Social media has truly gotten into the spirit of National Puppy Day, with people posting current and throwback pictures of their dogs. Animal shelters and humane societies are using the day to encourage puppy adoption from shelters instead of places like puppy mills.
Whatever the reason, it’s never a bad idea to post about National Puppy Day. Here are a few social media highlights to get you in the puppy mood.
