Student’s Unfinished Lab Report Is the Most Inspiring Thing You’ll Read All Day

In a post titled, “I’m going to miss this lab student…” Reddit user flopmaster0 posted several photos to Imgur of a student’s unfinished lab assignment.

Normally an unfinished assignment would garner a bad grade and possibly a talking to, but this student’s report was surprisingly inspirational and insightful.

In the introduction section of the report, the student writes that he will be on “academic suspension next semester” following his poor grade in “Differential Equations.”

It’s not all bad though, because on the next page in his “theory” section, he explains that he’s taken the time to reevaluate his life and pursue something he always dreamed of doing – being a pilot!

On the last page, he addresses “Zach,” (who we can only assume to be the student’s teacher or teaching assistant) saying, “this one’s for you, Zach, one less cursed lab report to grade.”

Sometimes when life throws you a curve ball, it’s actually an opportunity in disguise. This student was able to see through a tough time and make something out of it, and also save his teacher from having to grade another “cursed” report.
