When a Star Wars superfan got his 2015 tax refund, he knew he had to do something good with it.
Standup comedian James Calabrese decided to use the money to have the ultimate Star Wars photoshoot, complete with the original cast members.
“Wisely invested my tax return last year in a diverse portfolio of photographs with Star Wars actors at the 2015 Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim,” Calabrese shared on Imgur. “I tried to reenact a special Star Wars moment relevant to each character.”
Mark Hamill stood with the comedian in a “Leia-giving-Luke-a-medal pose,” shared Distractify. Hamill even completed the photo with the classic finger-point.
Next up was Anthony Daniels, a.k.a. C-3P0, who was totally onboard with the whole “Droid Prom Picture.”
“As I knelt down I wanted to ask him to put his hand on my head in the classic droids pose, but I got too nervous. But then he just did it! No prompting,” Calabrese said.
John Ratzenberger (Major Derlin), Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine), and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) also got in on the action.
Last but not least was Carrie Fisher, who went all out and reenacted the choking Jabba the Hut scene. Her dog also made an appearance.
“This was the photo I was most excited and nervous about,” Calabrese shared. “Phrasing was going to be key so as to avoid being tackled by security for asking her to ‘please choke me.’ Luckily Carrie is quite zany and down for whatever.”
Once the photos were finished and framed, Calabrese proudly hung the pictures in his home.
“Was so proud of the photos that I framed and hung them along my staircase like a loving mother does with family photos,” he explained. “Everyone who enters my house gets the detailed tour of the pics whether they want to or not.”
