It’s time to turn up your jack-o-lantern game to 15, or for fans of Game of Thrones, bring wildfire to life.

According to Reddit user “mike_pants,” there’s an incredibly simple concoction that will give your boring, old Halloween decoration a truly demonic look with spooky green flames instead of the normal yellow glow.

To make this creation you will need a small pumpkin, some medical-grade boric acid (which can be found at a local pharmacy), antifreeze, a metal container, and a lighter.

Along with the main ingredients, make sure that you have a fume hood, gloves, goggles, and any other protective gear near by. This project could get a little dangerous, so it might be safe to keep a fire extinguisher pretty close as well.

When shopping for supplies make sure that you buy boric acid and not borax. The product normally comes in a white, chalky powder and is typically labeled as a disinfectant. Also, be smart and use a liquid spray instead of an aerosol can!

After all the ingredients are gathered, the rest is pretty simple.

Pour the antifreeze into a metal bowl that is small enough to fit inside the pumpkin. The more antifreeze you put in, the longer it will burn as the antifreeze contains methanol. After, sprinkle in a bit of the boric acid, about 1-2 teaspoons per half-cup of antifreeze, and light it up.

Once lit the fire should burn a bright green color, not much different than the green destructive flame in Game of Thrones, due to the addition of the boric acid. According to Nerdist, it has to do with a process called “ion emission spectra.”

“The color of light you see depends on the amount of energy released, so no two elements will burn the same shade,” explained Nerdist.

Remember to keep safe when creating your very own wildfire and channeling your inner Cersei Lannister!
