Video of Toddler Hearing His Mother’s Voice for the First Time Will Melt Your Heart
When 2-year-old Kaiden Orantes was diagnosed with progressive hearing loss, according to ABC News, the doctors had no idea what was causing it. Ever since he was born, his hearing has just gotten worse and worse.
In an effort to help him hear and help him learn language, he was recently fitted with hearing aids. His mother, Caitlin Orantes, filmed the moment when he finally was able to hear all that he’s meant to and the video went viral with over 25,000 views (as of press time).
It’s easy to see why as Kaiden is overwhelmed with emotion at hearing his mom’s voice. He laughs and dances around at hearing all the new sounds.
