“What form of sorcery is this?” Those are likely the thoughts of a curious cat amazed by the workings of the world.
In a video uploaded to Imgur by user “atmospheric,” a black and white cat watches as its owner presses the Open/Close button on their computer tower. The cat stares at the computer, but then is thoroughly shocked when the CD-Rom drive shoots open and continues a look of utter disbelief while the disc drive remains open.

The cat’s humorous reaction quickly rose up the ranks of the social sharing site, landing on the coveted “Front Page” and earning thousands of comments. The video likely originated last year when YouTuber Sugarcoateda** uploaded a video called, “My cat gets confused by CD-ROM.”
What sort of sorcery is this? It’s a time travel trick, as CD-ROMs are likely soon to be a thing of the past. We’re sure cats will find more modern things to surprise them next.
