There have been so many viral video fads in the last two decades that it sometimes becomes hard to keep track. Luckily for those who have trouble, the Dallas Fort Worth Police Department has combined many of the best-known viral memes into one hilarious video.
The clip begins with Dallas Chief of Police Joel F. Fitzgerald first instructing one of his officers, identified as Mark, to do the viral “Running Man Challenge.” From there, he instructs Mark to catch up on any other viral memes the department has missed. Watch the video below:
Mark proceeds to move through parodies of several viral memes, including imitating the iconic “Star Wars Kid” combat moves, singing along to “Myahee” aka “Numa Numa” through his headphones, and planking in the office.
Mark then recruits other officers for parodies of British home video viral sensation “Charlie Bit My Finger,” Rebecca Black’s 2011 ear-worm “Friday,” a version of “Harlem Shake” that includes a lightsaber, the “Macarena” (including a full aerobics class), before finally doing “The Running Man” with a group of other officers.
The video concludes with the chief instructing Mark to take on another viral challenge, involving a pig and a bacon costume.
The spoof, posted to the department’s Facebook page Tuesday afternoon, has been liked nearly 6,500 times, shared over 7,500 times, and viewed nearly 500,000 times as of press time.
