Watch This Football Team Help Their Teammate Propose

The Samford Bulldogs college football team had just wrapped up a victory over the Virginia Military Institute when an incredible moment occurred. Linebacker Deion Pierre had a particularly big game, but it was nothing compared to the win he got after the game.

In a well-organized, thoughtful display, Pierre’s teammates grabbed roses and began two-stepping their way out to the field again, with Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” guiding them. Soon, unsuspecting Jasmine Armani, Pierre’s girlfriend, who had come to the game to support her beau, found herself surrounded by the team. It all hit her shortly, and she placed a hand over her mouth in surprise, when finally, a helmeted player broke through the circle to stand before her.

Injured hand and all, Pierre presented Armani with an engagement ring and popped the big question. Armani, overwhelmed with tears, quickly said yes, and the team exploded into cheers.

The video of the beautiful moment has since received 12 million views, over 200,000 likes, and over 190,000 shares on Facebook.
