When Rachel Ralphs took her sibling rivalry to the next level, she didn’t expect to get stuck in a sticky situation.

During her family pumpkin carving session, 16-year-old Ralphs wanted to prove to her brother that her pumpkin was bigger.

“I wanted to prove to him that my winning streak was still in place,” she shared with Today.

In order to do that, the teen thought it would be a good idea to stick her head in the pumpkin in order to prove her brother wrong.

Ralphs’ mother was recording her five kids carving their pumpkins and luckily got the whole event on camera. When the pumpkin was on top of Ralphs’ head, she needed her brothers assistance because it was so heavy. However, when she went to take it off, it wouldn’t budge.

“Go tell Dad that Rachel has her head stuck in her pumpkin. Hurry, hurry,” her mom says in the video. “Your daughter has got herself in a massive pickle, so to speak,” the mom said after the father arrived.

Ralphs’ father decided the best bet would be to call the fire department and ask them for their assistance. However, Ralphs wasn’t very keen about the idea.

“Nooooo! That would be so horrible!” she said from inside the pumpkin.

Watch it all happen in the video below.

The video ends without a resolution, but Ralphs shared that she was able to get her head out of the pumpkin about five minutes later.

She recorded a follow-up video explaining why she did it in the first place.

“I just thought it would be funny,” she explained.

“It was funny for us,” her dad said.

Her mom shared the video on Facebook and YouTube, but Ralphs is getting a good laugh about the whole event.

“I think it’s hilarious,” she said. “It’s totally fine. I’m glad people think it’s funny, too.”
