Shaquille O’Neal can now add Lyft driver to his resume thanks to a new episode of Undercover Lyft.
In the latest episode from the taxi hailing company, O’Neal makes an attempt to go undercover as a driver from the ride service app. While picking up passengers around Atlanta, O’Neal drives around in several different get-ups such as an off-duty cop, a Frenchman named Pierre, and a dreadlocked Jamaican.
While driving around in his many disguises, the basketball legend talks to his passengers, questions them about their favorite basketball players, gives them some free throw form advice, and even challenges them to a freestyle rap competition.
The passengers slowly caught on and started to wonder if their driver was actually Shaquille O’Neal. One passenger knew it from the beginning and could tell because of his poorly placed wig.
“I kind of figured it out early on,” the woman shared. “When I saw your wig, sir.”
Lyft has quite the history of partnering with celebrities behind the wheel. Previous episodes of Undercover Lyft include guest such as Danica Patrick, Jerry Rice, and Richard Sherman.
In classic Shaq style, the basketball player saved his best line for last sharing, “I’ve come a long way since Kazaam.”
