The Indians take a commanding 3-1 series lead after beating the Cubs in Game 4, 7-2.

The Chicago Cubs fought off elimination and defeated the Cleveland Indians in Game 5 of the World Series 3-2.

Cubs shortstop Addison Russell tied a World Series record by driving in six runs to help lead Chicago to a 9-3 win against the Indians and force a Game 7.
Now, millions everywhere are gearing up for Wednesday’s historic game. The Cubs are on the verge of a historic comeback and even their official twitter account is willing to help their fans out. Early on Wednesday, the team posted an “official excuse note” for fans to use to get out of school and work to prep for the historic contest.

While it’s all fun now, tonight’s game will be anything but, as either the Cubs (108 years without a World Series Championship) or Indians (68 years without a World Series Championship) will end their drought…and in-turn prolong their opponent’s.
