This 86-Year-Old Bride Is Wowing Us With Her Stunning Wedding Photos

They say love just happens and for 86-year-old Millie Taylor-Morrison, cupid’s arrow struck twice.

On October 16, she said “I do” to Harold Morrison after knowing each other for six decades and made a spectacular statement styling down the aisle in a purple wedding gown. Designed by her and created by Marco Hall, whose creations have been worn by A-listers on everything from the red carpet to the silver screen, the wedding photos taken by her granddaughter Khadija Elkharbibi have caused a viral sensation.

Taylor-Morrison took her vows of ’till death do us part’ seriously, having been previously married to Elkharbibi’s grandfather for 41 years, until his death in 1992.

Her current groom who was actually a guest at her first wedding is 85 years old and a longtime friend. They grew close when he became ill a few years ago. She would drive him to church every Sunday to New Beginning Faith Fellowship Ministries in Orange, New Jersey where the couple reconnected. Eventually she moved in to take care of him and love bloomed. Soon after the couple tied the knot at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey in front of 200 friends and family.

Elkharbibi told The Huffington Post, “The look on everyone’s face when they saw her, but especially the look on Mr. Harold’s face when he saw her walking down the aisle ― it was the absolute sweetest thing you could ever see! He teared up. It was beautiful! My Nana just beamed with happiness, it was truly a sight to see.”

And now, at the age of 86 it is evident from Elkharbibi’s “Love What Matters” Facebook post that thousands of people agree she is still a knock-out. Since being posted, the photos have received 98,000 likes and have been shared over 8,000 times.

Elkharbibi wrote in the post, “This is my beautiful grandmother, Millie Taylor-Morrison, who was married over the weekend at 86-years-old. She just turned 86 one week ago and her new husband will be 86 in December. My grandmother was married to my grandfather for 41 years when he passed away. She found love again almost 25 years later and our family couldn’t be happier for her. This is a true testament that age is just a number and everyone can find love again.”

It’s no surprise that Millie Taylor-Morrison is still a regal stunner as she was always a beauty, dating back to the 1950s when she worked as a model.
