Donald Trump’s Star Vandal Arrested

The man who destroyed Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been arrested for felony vandalism.

James Otis was taken into custody on Thursday morning.

Sources tell TMZ he was planning to stage a news conference hours later and then turn himself in to police.

Dressed as a construction worker, Otis defaced the plaque Trump unveiled in 2007 early on Wednesday as part of a protest against the Republican candidate.

He told the news outlet he was prepared to do jail time for his crime, revealing his plans to auction off pieces of the star and donate the money to the legal defense funds of women who have accused Trump of sexual misconduct.
