Here’s some good new — one couple’s pregnancy announcement is going viral for all the right reasons.

After struggling with infertility for many years, Lauren Walker and her husband Garyt are finally expecting not one — but two babies. The couple made the big announcement on Facebook with an unforgettable photo.

In the photo, Walker placed two onesies in the middle of 452 needles she used for in vitro fertilization. Since being posted on Facebook, the photo has been gone viral with over 1,500 likes.

“We prayed for 953 days…452 Needles, 1000’s of tears, 1 corrective surgery, 4 clomid/letrozole attempts, 2 IVF rounds, 3 failed transfers and & 1 Amazing GOD,” Walker wrote on Facebook about her intense journey.

“I wanted to show people not just how much we had been through, but to hopefully instill a sense of hope and comfort for anyone who is or has struggled to get pregnant,” she told The Huffington Post.

Walker and her husband realized something was off right away when they started trying to conceive. They tried several infertility treatments, including IVF, which was unsuccessful and ended in a miscarriage.

“When we started, we knew off the bat that I was having issues which I guess is a blessing,” Walker told ABC News. “It’s every mother’s job to be able to protect their children and keep them safe. And every time they kept putting them inside me I couldn’t do it.”

After spending $30,000 on treatments, Walker and her husband took a break from it all. They moved and kept the process on the down low for a new approach, yet they were still trying for a baby. Luckily, it all ended up in their favor.

“Life happens the way that it’s supposed to happen,” Walker said to ABC News. “Had this all happened the way I wanted to back in 2014, we would have different children and we would have a different life, and I know that these babies right now are meant to be here.”

Walker had no idea the picture would become so popular once she put it on Facebook. She simply uploaded it to share with her family and friends.

“Well, we certainly had NO idea it would become such a big thing,” Walker told Your Daily Dish. “We shared it on our Facebook for family and friends. My sister wanted her friends to be able to see it so I made it public. Next thing you know it was all over the place! We are pretty overwhelmed with everything, but ultimately so SO glad that it has brought hope and strength to so many struggling couples out there.”

Walker hopes her announcement will show others who are going through a similar process that they are not alone.

“Knowing that you’re not alone in this journey is sometimes all you need to get through the day,” Walker told Your Daily Dish. “Hundreds of people have reached out to me thanking me and my husband for being so open and honest. That’s what warms my heart.”

She continued, “These babies, and the love and support of so many people moved by this photo and story fills me joy and makes me tear up every time. It’s am amazing thing when science and faith come together to create something beautiful.”

Walker and her husband’s twins, named Duke and Diana, are due this August.

“Mommy and Daddy cannot wait to hold you in our arms, for we have carried you in our hearts for a lifetime,” Walker wrote on Facebook.
