It is always nice to see a delivery person receive an act of kindness.

Lisa Betts Gwin from Louisiana wanted to give back to the delivery people working hard this holiday season — and who doesn’t like snacks?

So she whipped up a basket of goodies and her tale of goodness has gone viral.

Gwin, like many people, does most of her Christmas shopping online. After receiving frequent packages from delivery people, she decided to delight these hard-working folks with a basket of goodies to sweeten up their busy routes.

She left the basket at her front door containing water and snacks with a note reading, “Please take some goodies to enjoy while on your route! Thank you so much for making holiday shopping easier!”

After the post went viral with over 200,000 likes, she took a selfie with Antonio, the Gwins’ usual part-time delivery person from UPS.

“Doing a good job often times goes unnoticed, but sometimes people are watching even when you don’t know it,” she captioned the photo.

Gwin’s good deed is surely inspirational and we hope Antonio the UPS guy snags that full-time job – which he is apparently good at!

Your Daily Dish reached out to Lisa Betts Gwin for a comment.
