WATCH: These Adorable Overweight Hedgehogs Need Some Diet, Exercise

Have you ever had a little too much to eat? Maybe you OD’d on the pasta or had dessert too many times this week. Whatever the reason, your pants are feeling a little tight. Well, you aren’t alone. These little hedgehogs can relate.

Yes, you read that right. A few hedgehogs went a little too far with their snacking, and now they’re in a bit of trouble. The little guys in the video below are so chubby that they can’t roll into a ball to protect themselves from predators.

Luckily for the sometimes-prickly chubsters, some kindhearted animal lovers saw them waddling around the streets and rescued them. They turned the overweight hedgehogs into the local zoo, Ramat Gan Safari, located near Tel Aviv in Israel.

Where’d they get all the food? Well, staff at the zoo thinks they gobbled up scraps left outside for pets. Whatever the source, these hedgehogs are being put on a diet and exercise regimen to get them back into fighting (well, defensive at the very least) shape!
