Horse Surprises Bride With Big Cheesy Grin on Her Wedding Day

Say cheese!

Patti Womer knew she wanted to have her two horses by her side on her wedding day. It seemed like the horses were equally excited to be a part of her big day, with one of the horses showing off a big smile in one of the pictures.

“I just thought it was hilarious. It literally looks like it was staged, but it wasn’t at all,” Womer told Inside Edition. “It was just kind of funny and it was great that I was smiling too.”

The two horses have been a staple in Womer’s family ever since she was 8 years old.

Womer included the horses in her wedding photos as a way to honor her father, who passed away during the year. Right before Womer walked down the aisle, she took a photo on the horses, leaving the saddle next to her empty to represent her father.

Just as she was done taking the photos on the horses to honor her father, one of the horses busted out his pearly whites, stealing the spotlight in the process.

“It was a brief two or three seconds that the horse’s teeth were showing, and I was hoping we got it,” photographer Tony Bendele told ABC News. “I thought it was an awesome photo.”

Womer plans to hang the pictures in her home as a way to honor her father and remember her special day.
