The unseasonably warm December has lead WGN to find one of Chicago’s most eligible bachelors. What started off as a simple weather report about the unusually warm temperatures this December has now gone viral thanks to “Ethan the Shirtless Wonder.”

Ethan Renoe was discovered during his run in the pouring rain along Lake Michigan on Sunday night.

“It’s a great day for a run. Too wet to wear a shirt, you know?” Ethan told the reporter at WGN. “It’s awesome. I love running in the rain. And I’m also single, so give me a shout.”

WGN posted the video of Renoe to their Facebook page, where the interview has been viewed more than 1 million times, with 20,000 likes and over 11,000 shares. Many of the commenters applauded Renoe’s looks and were all wondering how they could arrange a date with the shirtless runner.

Since then, Renoe has been hit like crazy on social media with followers and friend requests. “It’s really been crazy, I have about 900 friend requests (on Facebook) right now,” Reneo told WGN during a follow-up interview.

Renoe said he was very surprised by how quickly the video took off. When WGN asked Renoe if he’s still looking for love, he answered, “I am.”

Reneo is originally from Colorado and is leaving Chicago today. Curious about getting in touch with Ethan? Check out his personal website and find him on Facebook and Twitter.

So this just happened. Enjoying the weather, are you, “Ethan”?
