A 9-year-old boy proved himself a hero when his quick thinking saved his baby brother from a potential serious injury.

Joseph Levia was watching his mother Tila change his baby brother when she became momentarily distracted. In that split second, the baby began rolling off the high changing table. As seen in the video, Joseph sprung into action, sprinting across the room and saving the boy before his head hit the ground.

The youngster explained the situation to Inside Edition, seemingly attributing it to divine intervention. “I felt like something came and pushed me forward, and when that happened, I ran and caught him.”

Tila Levia see’s the incident as nothing short of a “miracle.” The 30-year-old mother of five also owned up to her role in the near tragedy, saying, “I messed up and did something wrong, but I must have done something right to have been deserving of this little guy.”
