If you ever find yourself in the wilderness and in need of shelter, this guy has got you covered. The unidentified man runs a YouTube page and WordPress blog called Primitive Technology where he illustrates how to build things using only the environment.

On his blog, he states, “Primitive technology is a hobby where you make things in the wild completely from scratch using no modern tools or materials. This is the strict rule.”

In his newest video, he builds a pretty impressive shelter using only the grass and wood around him. According to his blog, the shelter should be rain-proof and can even host a small fire if kept in the center. It took him seven days to build, but can be built much quicker if it’s in an area where there’s more grass readily available.

So, if you ever find yourself lost in the woods or if you just want to prove you can make one, check out the video below.

Got the shelter down? How about a bow and arrow? You will need to eat after all.

You’ll also need a fire to cook what you catch.
