Nicole Kidman In Talks For ‘Wonder Woman’ Role

Nicole Kidman is in talks to join the cast of the much-anticipated Wonder Woman movie.

Sources tell The Wrap the Australian film star is a frontrunner to portray Hyppolyta, the Queen of the Amazons, in the blockbuster DC Comics film.

Gal Gadot will play the Amazonian princess who becomes Wonder Woman, while Star Trek‘s Chris Pine recently confirmed reports suggesting he’s on board as the film’s leading man.

Meanwhile, Wonder Woman will be featured in next year’s Batman v Superman and the stand-alone film will be released in June 2017.
