A potentially damaging video has leaked of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaking candidly about trying to “f**k” a married woman and that “when you’re a star” you can do “anything,” including grab a woman “by the p*ssy.”
On Friday, the Washington Post released a video of Trump speaking with Access Hollywood host Billy Bush in 2005 while Trump was on his way to the set of Days of Our Lives. The Republican presidential candidate was set to appear on the daytime soap opera in a guest appearance. Trump and Bush were scheduled to meet with actress Arianne Zucker and the video shows them exiting an Access Hollywood bus.
The video begins with Trump describing a time he tried to convince a married woman to sleep with him.
“I moved on her actually, you know. She was down in Palm Beach. I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and f*** her. She was married,” said Trump. “I moved on her very heavily. I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’ I moved on her like a b*tch, but I couldn’t get there, and she was married.”
Trump continued: “Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony t*ts and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”
The Post describes that Bush and Trump then see Zucker as the bus pulls into the lot. From the Post:
“Your girl’s hot as s—, in the purple,” says Bush, who’s now a co-host of NBC’s Today show.
“Whoa!” Trump says. “Whoa!”
“I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says. “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”
“And when you’re a star, they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”
“Whatever you want,” says another voice, apparently Bush’s.
“Grab them by the p—y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”
Trump responded to the video, dismissing the discussion as nothing more than fooling around.
“This was locker-room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close,” Trump said in a statement, according to the Post. “I apologize if anyone was offended.”
NBC Universal, which produces Access Hollywood, did not comment on the Post story.
Billy Bush said in a statement, “Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago — I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry.”
Users on social media were not kind to either man.
If @realDonaldTrump is describing assault, then the real question is why is Billy Bush laughing hysterically and not reporting him?
