Adele has become quite the underrated prankster since releasing her hit album, 25.

It first started when she joined a group of Adele impersonators, only later to reveal her true self in a hilarious bit. She also mastered the ultimate photo bomb when fans of hers were offered a chance to take a picture with her Oscar. Little did they know that Adele would appear in the background. However, her most recent prank with Ellen DeGeneres may take the cake as the best one yet.

During Adele’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, DeGeneres and Adele teamed up for a classic hidden camera prank. Someone posed as Adele’s fake assistant and told the employees at Jamba Juice that Adele was coming in and wanted to be treated like any other customer. Little did the employees know that Ellen was prompting Adele’s every move with a hidden earpiece.

The nonsense started when Adele asked if she could have a large juice in a small cup. She also explained to the employees that the concept of Jamba Juice was foreign to her.

“We have something similar in Britain; we call it Swishy Chug,” Adele shared.

Adele did not back down at all even when DeGeneres told her to take a pair of scissors out of her purse, cut some of the wheatgrass, and eat it right then and there. Adele was 100% committed to the prank, keeping the confused employees in check during the joke.

The prank comes a few days after Adele’s mishap performance at The Grammys. Adele explained during her appearance on DeGeneres’ show how she “cried pretty much all day [Tuesday]” due to the unfortunate technical problems.

“Sound check was great — went really well. I was really excited and then during the changeover, the microphones fell onto the piano strings which is what the guitar noise was,” Adele shared with DeGeneres. “Some people thought it was [Justin] Bieber rehearsing, but it wasn’t him. We’re on great terms. And then it kind of put the whole thing off really.”

Right away she could tell that something was off.

“I knew where the mic was and I wanted to turn around and lift it up, but I froze,” Adele told DeGeneres.”In fairness, I would have cried if it went really well as well. If it was a standout performance, I would have cried as well. I always cry! I kept spontaneously bursting into tears yesterday.”

Regardless of the sound issues, Adele still had a knockout night. Check out the rest of the hilarious prank below.
