Woman’s Cat Runs Off for Hours and Comes Back With Adorable Kitten
Posey, a cat owned by Claudia Wright, was out enjoying one of her outdoor adventures. Then, she came back several hours later — with another cat!
A 7-week-old kitten, named Meesy, was found all alone by 4-year-old Posey.
Wright originally found Posey, who was a mother to three, when she was just a stray a few years ago.
“I guess she missed having a baby around and found one,” Wright told The Dodo.
Her maternal instincts might have kicked in — combined with missing her three babies who were given to other families.
Wright confirmed Meesy isn’t owned by anyone and that it is possible she was separated from her own mother. It appears that Meesy has a new mother now, and Posey has a new baby.
“They love each other,” Wright said. “They’ve completely adopted each other.”
