An employee at the Australian Reptile Park in Sydney took his personal life center stage during a recent performance.

Billy Collett, the park’s head of reptiles, was hosting a crocodile feeding show when he called his girlfriend, Siobhan Oxley, a former park employee herself, into the enclosure.

“Three years ago next week, I actually met the girl of my dreams. The girl I love more than anything. She’s going to have a crack at feeding the crocodile,” he told the crowd.

As seen in the video above, Oxley joined him and the two lured the animal, Elvis, out of the water. However instead of feeding him, Collett whipped out an engagement ring and proposed. Oxley happily said yes, and the two embraced with the 15-foot-long croc looking on.

Video of the proposal was posted on the park’s Facebook page, quickly garnering over 175,000 views. Some commenters even claimed the video made them cry, though no word on how many of these were crocodile tears.
