Family Who Adopted 7 Pets Now Have Their Pets Adopting Newborn Baby

When Kasey Boggs and her husband found out they were pregnant, they weren’t quite sure how their five adorable adopted pets (and two ducks, to boot) were going to react. It seems there’s nothing to worry about, as the couple’s little bundle of joy is fitting in just fine with his loving animals.

On Christmas Eve, Boggs and her husband welcomed their “little Christmas miracle,” Sonny Laurent Boggs, “the most perfect addition [they] could have possibly wished for!”

The family returned home from the hospital to their adorable “zoo” of pets, which includes four dogs and a cat. Where the couple thought the animals might need a little time to get used to a new baby, that couldn’t have been further from what really happened.

“When we brought Sonny home, I felt like they were expecting him,” Boggs said, according to Bored Panda. “They have respected him and loved him as one of their own.”

The couple has since been sharing their newborn’s exploits on Instagram to their  55,000-plus followers, which has caused a media sensation. Each image they share of Sonny and at least one of the pets gets anywhere from 3,500 to 6,500 likes and numerous comments about how loving and gentle each animal is with the baby.

If Kasey Boggs and her husband had any reservations about introducing a newborn to a household of pets, their animals obviously quickly put those worries to (a nice, warm, furry) bed.
