The kids of Broadway are singing out and making a difference with their latest collaboration, “I Have a Voice.”

Over 70 child actors have joined forces to record a song for an anti-bullying campaign featuring a one-of-a-kind track and music video. The hit single features performers from On Your Feet, Matilda the Musical, Kinky Boots, and School of Rock.

All profits from the song, written by Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn and lyricist Robin Lerner, will go to the “Broadway Kids Against Bullying” non-profit organization. The organization aims to train and educate students about bullying and cyberbullying, while teaching them to be compassionate students. So far, the “No Bully System” program has reached over 100,000 students.

“I am so honored and grateful for my music to be used for this cause, which as a father, is so very important to me,” Wildhorn said to People. “I believe music can heal, I believe so strongly in its power to communicate. Being in the studio, watching and hearing these beautiful children sing Robin’s beautiful words was a truly inspiring moment, one I’ll never forget. I only hope that this recording and video can be shared with the world, and that this message resonates with all of us.”

The music video shows a group of students reaching out to their peers and showing them that they are not alone.

“In the recording industry, I often work with children and have seen how saddened they are by the increased bullying and intolerance in schools across the country over the past year,” Executive Producer Van Dean, President of Broadway Records told People in a statement. “The ‘I Have a Voice’ initiative is an opportunity for 70+ child performers from Broadway and beyond to express their own voice and let other children know they too, have a voice.”

He continued, “I truly hope this song will inspire others to be more inclusive, tolerant and unite kids to celebrate our differences.”

Dean is known for his charitable mindset, previously co-founding “Broadway for Orlando.”

“I Have a Voice” is now available on iTunes and Broadway Records. It will be soon be featured in the new musical, Song of Bernadette.
