Watch This Heartwarming Reunion Between a Dying Woman and Her Horse
Thanks to a helpful medical staff, one dying woman’s dreams were able to come true.
A 58-year-old German woman only wanted to see her horse before she died. Luckily, the hospice staff and the workers from the riding school were able to make that happen for the woman.
Once the plans were in motion, Dana the horse was on her way to see her owner. The horse traveled by trailer to the Klinikum Furth clinic in Iceland.
The touching reunion took place around the woman’s family and friends. They even “helped raise her hand to nuzzle the nose of her former comfort animal.”
What a kind and heartwarming moment the staff was able to put together for this dying woman.
The moving reunion was very similar to a moment that took place not too long ago. A former equestrian rider with Parkinson’s was able to have one last ride thanks to the Hidden Desires Project.
Both reunions show just how strong a person’s bond can be with their animals.
