Bill Murray Gives World The Best Present With New Christmas Special On Netflix

If Bill Murray can do no wrong (and he can’t, so don’t even think it), then a new Netflix special heading to the streaming service this holiday season is sure to become a new classic.

Murray, along with famed director and screenwriter Sofia Coppola, will debut A Very Murray Christmas this holiday season as a special, star-studded variety show only on Netflix. Watch the trailer below.

According to Netflix’s YouTube page:

“This winter, Bill Murray brings an extra-special dose of holiday cheer to Netflix with the premiere of an all-star musically-driven holiday special, A Very Murray Christmas. Set inside New York City’s iconic Carlyle hotel, A Very Murray Christmas opens with Murray preparing to host a live, international holiday broadcast. After a blizzard shuts down the production, he makes the best of the situation by singing and celebrating with friends, hotel employees and anyone else who drops by.”

While the trailer reveals such stars as George Clooney, Chris Rock, Miley Cyrus, Amy Poehler, Jason Schwartzman, Michael Cera, Maya Rudolph, Rashida Jones, Paul Shaffer, and the band Phoenix as guests, there’s sure to a handful of unnamed celebrities “dropping” in.

The special premieres on the streaming service beginning December 4.
