When it comes to dressing little girls, most dads seem to hesitate and get a little overwhelmed.

Jeremy Basso thought he excelled at dressing his 7-month-old daughter Olivia, however his wife had a different opinion.

Basso’s wife Brooke got a surprise when she picked up her daughter from daycare to find her dressed in overalls and nothing else.

“I had no idea she was dressed like that until I picked her up,” Brooke Basso shared with Today. “When I picked her up from daycare, I thought perhaps she spilled out of her diaper and maybe they removed the shirt that I assumed she was brought in.”

She continued, “Our provider just laughed and said, ‘No, Jeremy brought her in like that, and we just thought OK.’ We all just laughed about it.”

Basso’s wife then took a picture of her daughter in her outfit to share with family and friends. She then decided to post the picture with the text conversation to Ellen DeGeneres Facebook page and the photo went viral.

The photo has other parents sharing their wardrobe malfunctions in the comment sections.

“One time my husband thought he was spraying water on my son’s curly hair to help tame it before church but it was bleach! My son’s hair had to be cut to get the bleach dye job out! I appreciate the help and it did make for a great story,” wrote Facebook user Michelle Flehmer Hilburn.

So, what does Basso think of his fashion faux pas?

“It was hanging in the closet, and I just grabbed it and thought it was some sort of tank top,” he said. “It was funny after I thought about it. I suppose (dads should) send a picture to their wives if they second guess themselves. But, Olivia didn’t seem to mind, so it was all good.”
