Mulder’s Back: Fox Releases First ‘X-Files’ Revival Trailer

After 13 years, The X-Files are re-opening.

On Monday, Fox debuted the first look at the new X-Files series that will premiere in January.

“In 2002, our investigation ceased, but my personal obsession did not.”

Those are the words of Fox Mulder (David Duchovny), the FBI agent in charge of the X-Files division, which will reopen as part of a six-episode season. Mulder will once again be welcomed by Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson), as well as the duo’s boss, Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) and the mysterious Smoking Man.

Also joining the cast will be Joel McHale (Community, The Soup), Robbie Amell (The Flash), and Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under).
