“Shake It Off” Taylor, just shake it off.
In a new commercial for Apple Music, Taylor Swift proves her coordination skills are something not to be desired.
As the pop star gears up for a run, she complains about how much she hates cardio. To pump herself up for the gym session, the 26-year-old singer checks out a playlist from Apple Music’s “#GymFlow” playlist. From the selection, she puts on “Jumpman” from Drake and Future’s recent mixtape, What a Time To Be Alive.
“Jumpman, jumpman – that boy’s up to something,” Swift starts to rap, getting really into the song and adding her own dance moves.
She’s so caught up in the song that before she even has time to react, Swift slips and face plants, flying right off the treadmill.
The Grammy winner shared the funny April Fool’s prank on her social media accounts with the caption, “Based on true events. #TAYLORvsTREADMILL.”
Swift and Apple Music have had a rocky relationship in the past.
Swift pulled her 1989 album from the streaming service due to concerns over fair artist payouts. Apple agreed to pay for her music quickly after the dispute. Since then, the pair have worked together, exclusively releasing her concert film, Taylor Swift: The 1989 World Tour, on Apple Music.
