Years ago, they were called freaks of nature. You’d see them at traveling carnival shows. They were part of the menagerie or human freak show. Today, we like to think we are more enlightened and civilized and a little more understanding of the variety of shapes, sizes and colors human beings can take.

With more than 7 billion people on this planet, it’s inevitable that a few strange and weird looking people would inhabit the earth. From rare health conditions to odd behavior, these people are anything but normal.

And you think your uncoordinated friend doesn’t know her right hand from her left.  She should feel lucky. The Hensel sisters each have their own head and internal organs, but share one body with only one pair of arms and legs. Both girls can read and write normally, but when doing things like eating, running, driving, or playing video games, it takes a little bit more coordination. “Sis, when you’re finished using your right hand, let me know. I need it to brush my teeth.”
