Full Video of a Baby Bear and a Baby Deer Meeting Each Other Just Surfaced

Strange friendships between animals are nothing new, but it still fascinates to see animals of different species bonding. Especially when one animal is considered to be a predator of another. Imagine a fearsome bear befriending an unsuspecting deer! Ridiculous, right?

In August, a video of a baby bear cub and fawn went viral. In the video, they quizzically checked each other out until the bear summoned the courage to plant a tiny kiss on the fawn’s nose.

Luckily for us, a longer video has just gained viral status, one that shows the full encounter between the bear cub, affectionately known as Boog, and the fawn. Both animals live on Point of View Farm in West Virginia, a place for rescued animals.

In the video, Boog has just been presented with the fawn. At first, it seems like his curiosity will lead him to introduce himself. But then, bashful as ever, the 5-month-old cub rushes to the foot of the staircase, hiding himself.

Of course, we know how the video ends, with Boog summoning up the courage to welcome his new housemate. And so the feels continue!
