Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry Campaign for Hillary Clinton

Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry have been campaigning across America for Hillary Clinton.

Cyrus surprised students in their dormitories at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, as she knocked on their doors on Saturday to talk about voting for the Democratic presidential nominee.

The 23-year-old “Wrecking Ball” singer went door-to-door, and said to one college freshman, “Hello? How are you? I’m Miley. I’m here supporting Hillary. Are you going to vote?”

Wearing a red and silver striped dress, a furry blue jacket, a pink headband and an oversized blue bow across her chest, Cyrus trekked across the campus talking to students.

“Your room is so cute,” she said to another student, Page Six reports. “Sorry to come in with all these people. They’re awesome people also excited for Hillary. Are you registered to vote? Are you voting here or are you from out of town? I’m from Nashville but I actually just re-registered because I’m so excited to go on the day because I want the sticker.”

Cyrus later shared photos from her university visit on Instagram, including one of her posing in front of a crowd of students. “Campaigned for @hillaryclinton today in GMU in VA encouraging young people to volunteer and vote!!!!” she captioned the snap.

On the other side of the country, Perry was rallying voters in Las Vegas, wearing a T-shirt that took aim at Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

The “Roar” hitmaker was dressed in a tee emblazoned with a heart and the words “Nasty Woman,” in reference to Trump’s comment about rival Clinton in the last presidential debate.

Perry told young potential voters in Vegas to stop making excuses and vote. “You have to be present,” she said. “This is an election that counts.”

Perry has been an outspoken supporter of Clinton throughout, and previously performed – and gave a speech – at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia earlier this year.
