Sometimes a simple act of kindness can make a huge difference.

After a New Jersey Transit commuter train crashed into Hoboken station early Thursday morning, many people rushed to the train station to help wherever they could. However, one local restaurant took helping out to the next level.

Tony Boloney’s shared on Facebook that they would be bringing free pizzas and subs to any first responders of the crash. They also opened their shop to any first responders and told them to use it for anything they might need.

“All about the community,” Tony Boloney’s shared with A Plus.

“These are the people we know,” Mike Hauke of Tony Boloney’s explained. “The least we could do is drop off pizzas so they don’t have to worry about food.”

The compassionate gesture inspired other restaurants and businesses in the area to do the same thing.

“Why wouldn’t I do this?” local restaurant owner Mike Gallucci shared. “You want to do your part.”
