Move over Kim Kardashian, this sloth has just taken the crown for the best selfie on the internet.

An image of a sloth taking a picture with a selfie stick gained a lot of attention recently on Imgur. The photo shows a man taking a picture with the “accessory du jour” of all tourists in the sloth’s natural environment. Naturally, the sloth jumped into the picture complete with the perfect pose.

The sloth is probably clueless about what is going on, but still nails the pose regardless.

Users on Imgur began captioning the sloth selfie. One user called it “a slofie” and another wrote, “Smile and wave, just smile and wave. Tourist season is almost over.”

PR manager Andrew Bloch took the photo while walking through the rain forest. He captioned the photo on Twitter, “I’m totally against the selfie-stick but every now and then an exception comes along.”

The picture was quick to go viral with over 21, 000 retweets and 26,000 likes on Twitter. The photo has also been viewed almost 2 million times on Imgur (at the time of publication).

Perhaps this is the only acceptable reason to ever use a selfie stick.
